1000 Trees FOUNDERS CY

1000 Trees FOUNDERS CY is an environmental project by the community that helps restore Cyprus' forests after wildfires. We don't just plant trees; we accompany this process at all stages. First, we grow seedlings, then we transplant them, take care of them, prepare them for planting in the ground, and support them after planting. The project has already become a good tradition for the community. Participants regularly gather for family eco-picnics, together transplanting trees and helping to prepare new seedlings for planting in the ground. Thanks to these meetings, hundreds of young trees will have a chance to grow and become part of Cyprus' nature. To sustain the project, we require about 500 euros per month. This money is spent on land, pots, transplanting materials, watering, transportation, and other necessary expenses for caring for the seedlings. Your contribution will help not only plant a tree but also ensure its care in the first years of life — that’s when young plants most need support. Together, we are creating a long-term environmental project that will benefit the island for many years to come.
