Dog Walk with Williams Dog Shelter 27.06

Williams Dog Shelter is a dog shelter located in the Pareklisia area. Currently, about 350 dogs live there, many of whom have been rescued from abuse or life on the streets. We are gathering at the shelter on June 27 to walk the dogs, spend time with them, and help them receive what is especially important for the animals in the shelter: attention, care, and contact with people. Children are welcome to come along. The shelter has both large and small dogs, and volunteers will help everyone find a suitable walking partner. The shelter also needs food, water, medicines, and supplies. If you wish, you can buy something from the list and bring it along on the walk. Shelter needs: • large cans of dog food (Lidl, Sklavenitis, Smart, etc.) • Allopurinol 300 mg tablets (human pharmacy) • sturdy garbage bags (around 100 L) • collars in sizes L–XL • leashes • used towels, blankets, coverlets, sheets • sunshades • plastic dog pools (JUMBO) • assistance with veterinary bills To sign up for the walk, click the “I’m going” button.
